What is Aurora Estate Agency doing into at the moment?
We have had a big increase in long term rentals, I think due to the decrease in the prices of rental properties that many people are taking this opportunity to look for larger properties, or maybe relocating closer to work etc. We have a expansive amount of properties ranging from a 1 bedroom apartment in the heart of Corralejo, to a 4 bedroom house just a little further out available for rental.
Another division of Aurora Estate Agency is AURYTUR, we offer an extensive portfolio of villas in the beautiful suburbs of Corralejo all with private gardens and private pools (heated optional) for available for holiday rentals: when I opened Aurora Estate Agency is seem logical to incorporate the villa management into it and Aurytur was created.

Aurytur is dedicated to the villa holiday rentals and offer a personal service to our clients starting from the time of booking with our experienced reservations department right through to our team of maintenance staff and even including a personal visit from our Aurytur representative to make sure that our guests have a relaxing and care free holiday.
We also have a 24 hour emergency number (0034) 661 639385 which is given to all guests so they know that should they need assistance in anyway, we are only a phone call away, giving piece of mind.
We also can offer clients who buy for investment and are not planning on living in their property full time, rental and management on the property. Should you they not wish to use your property for rental, but are not going to be based in fuerteventura, we can offer clients a management service only where they would be able to rest back at home know that their property is being looked after.

What do you think of the Canary Islands place in the current European property market?
Although in the canaries we have been affected with the problems in the current economical climate, the canaries are still one of the best places to buy with the all year round weather and just 4 hours flight time from the uk.
Although the amount of people buying property has decreased a little, this is probably one of the best moments to buy with properties being sold at reduced prices and Fuerteventura is becoming more popular with Europeans for both a quiet holiday destination and as a possibility for those looking for a retirement property. With the best beaches in Europe, miles of sand dunes and for those wishing to practice water sports, Fuerteventura’s sunshine, warm seas, and breezy coastal conditions are ideal. The second largest of the Canary Islands being an ideal location situated just 100 Km from the African coast, less densely populated and much quieter than its neighbours, it measures 110 Km long by about 30Km at its widest. With its dry sunny climate and soothing sea breezes.
How is business?
We are seeing an increase in the amount of people coming over to look for property for sale in Fuerteventura, this being an excellent moment to invest as there are some very good properties available are reduced prices. We have collaborators in the uk and Ireland that are contacting us more frequently with with potential clients.
Is there anything exciting happening at the moment?
Before we had noticed a decrease in interest from investor clients looking for businesses especially from Ireland, but now with increased flights to the island, we in communication with a group of investors from Ireland that are looking for businesses to purchase here in Fuerteventura, especially hotels or tourist complexes. This is excellent news for the island and a very good sign that things have started to settle and the confidence of investing in Fuerteventura has returned.
What types of properties are most sought after?
We are seeing a variety in properties ranging from 55,000 Euros for a 1 bedroom apartment in Corralejo, up to 300.000 Euros for a 3 bedroom chalet, this is why we feel that slowly but surely things are starting to look a little brighter with the property market.
