Canary Island property guide
Each of the Canary Islands has something different to offer. They all have great year round weather with a special feel to each one. They all have great beaches and a safe environment. A quick overview would be:
The smaller islands to the west of La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro are the least developed, quietest and verdants.
Tenerife probably receives the highest tourist numbers. The sunnier south west coast has lots going on.
Gran Canaria is a close second in tourist numbers.
Fuerteventura is very German in the south west and English in the North East. After the smaller islands in the West this is the least developed but very up and coming.
Lanzarote has strict building controls so no high rise. To find out more about each island click their names above.
The weather in the Canary Islands has been widely proclaimed as the very best in Europe and maybe the world. Where else could you find a country in which most houses need neither heating nor air conditioning sytetms? The cooling summer breezes subside in Winter to keep the climate warm and temperate.
