Fuerteventura Property overview
Fuerteventura has a solid tourist and property industry with most of the English investors buying and selling property in Corralejo or Caleta de Fuste.
Corralejo is located in the north of Fuerteventura and is the most popular market for property sales. The town is progressively expanding due to demand and there is a very broad selection of property on the market. Properties for sale in Corralejo start at around £44.000 for a one bedroom studio apartment on a compelx with a pool. In and around Corralejo there are some fantastic beaches, hotels and a great main street with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Most of the Corralejo estate agents are to be found along the main street and almost all will speak English and be happy to assist you in all aspects of your property purchase.
Caleta de Fuste is located a few kilometres south of Fuerteventuras airport. Caleta de Fuste grew out of a town but also has a large section purpose built for tourism including a 27 hole golf course, multiplex cinemas, shopping centre and hotels. There is one main beach and some other nice built beaches in front of the new shopping centre. Property for sale in Caleta de Fuste starts in the region of £50,000, for this you can expect a one bedroom apartment on a complex with a swimming pool. Most of the estate agents in Caleta de Fuste can be found in the older part of town along the main streets
