Tenerife has probably the largest amount of visiting tourists per year than any other Canary Island. It is these visitors that drive the property market. The weather in the South / South West of the island is the best due to the sheltering influence of Mount Teide. This is therefore the area that most people want to visit. Visitors come to the island, see the wonderful year around lifestyle that can be had here and buy property. Not everyone buys in Tenerife for the same reasons but the fantastic weather is a major factor.

Some of the busiest areas for property sales are Playa de las Americas, Los Cristianos, Adeje, Gold del Sur, Amarilla.... the list goes on. Each of these resorts are near each other and Tenerife's south airport.
